By the beginning of the 1960s, the Neth circuit was acquired by the Academy organization. Academy now had all of the theaters listed, except for the closed Lane. Gradually in the sixties and seventies, most of the theaters, ceased functioning as movie theaters. By the mid-eighties, all of the theaters were demolished or converted to other uses.
