AMC Dine-In Easton Town Center 30

This massive AMC megaplex opened on June 30, 1999. An IMAX screen was added in 2005. Two screens which were Dreamscape VR experience screens were closed by 2024, but the theatre retained the 30-screens name. The total seating capacity in the 28-screens is 2,324-seats.

@Mark_L, sounds like they’re moving ahead on their “Fork & Screen” concept at full speed.

From looking at the AMC information on their website, they appear to have 2 types of service: CinemaSuites, which is 21 & over only with recliners, and Fork & Screen which is 18 & over with children accompanied by parent allowed.

This is a good location for this as they can easily control access to that entire wing of screens.

There is a LOT of construction going on at Easton right now. A huge new “flagship” Victoria’s Secret, and new Express and remodeling of the Brio restaurant are all ongoing, probably trying to get done by the summer shopping season.

Current screen amount is 28. Current capacity is 2,324. All auditoriums have reclining seats, except for IMAX (#14), which is still using classic fabric seats.

This was one of the few AMCs that converted auditoriums for a partnership with Dreamscape, a VR experience. Auditoriums 29 and 30 never re-opened after Dreamscape ceased operations in the US.

Auditorium capacities: 100 (1), 100 (2), 108 (3), 108 (4), 62 (5), 62 (6), 43 (7), 43 (8), 43 (9), 43 (10), 61 (11), 61 (12), 61 (13), 280 (14/IMAX), 223 (15), 209 (16/Dolby), 194 (17/PRIME), 49 (18), 49 (19), 49 (20), 27 (21), 27 (22), 27 (23), 27 (24), 49 (25), 49 (26), 85 (27), 85 (28)

Theater needs alot of TLC. The IMAX screen seating needs to be replaced. The carpeting is ragged and dirty. The flow of the entrance needs to be redone with the elevator to the second level needs better access.

Despite only having 28 auditoriums in use after Dreamscape gutted #29 and #30, the theater is still officially referred to as “AMC DINE-IN Easton Town Center 30”.
