Built on the site of the Tiger Drive-In (it has its own page on Cinema Treasures). Owned by Southern Theatres, which operates 151 screens in eleven theaters in Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi and North Carolina. The Grand 16 was opened on December 22, 2006. By 2025 it was operated by Santikos Theatres as The Grand Slidell.

Interesting fact is that this theatre is built on the site of the old Gulf States Theatres Tiger Drive-In.
Grand opening ad posted. It opened on December 22nd, 2006 and the IMAX screen installed in 2011.
