By all newspaper advertisements, an independently owned drive-in. The Oceanway Drive-In was opened on January 19, 1951 with Alan Ladd in “Whispering Smith” & William Gargan in “Dynamite”. It was operated by G.H. Brown in 1953. It was closed on February 7, 1959.
It was reopened on July 17, 1963 with James Stewart in “Mr Hobbs Takes a Vacation” & Pat Boone in “State Fair”. It closed on December 11, 1976.
