First operated by Movie World Cinemas, and later National Theatre Corp. Regal acquired the theater from NTC on April 8, 1994, and they closed it on October 11, 2001 due to the chain not wanting to compete over its nearby and successful 14-screener.

After being abandoned for a whole year, the theater reopened with six screens as the USA Cinema Encore Cinema in 2003 under independent ownership.

Encore Cinema 6 was closed on 7/31/2022.

Regal Cinemas operated this theatre from 1994-2001.

Encore Cinema 6 re-opened in Nov. 2012 after USA Cinemas closed in Sept. 2012.

It is operated by the owner of Skyway Twin Drive-In Theatre in Warren, Oh and Boardman Movies 8 in Boardman (Youngstown), Oh.

FYI. This theater is located in the Eastwood Mall complex for those who are not familiar with the area. The Mall is one of the largest malls in the state, and is complete with a baseball sadium which is home to one of the Cleveland Indians farm clubs.

This opened as Movie World on June 17th, 1977 with four cinemas.
