The Wynnsong 12 operated by Carmike Cinemas opened on February 12, 1999. In December 2016 it was taken over by AMC. It was closed in March 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It is still ‘closed until further notice’ in August 2022. AMC announced on January 23, 2023 that the closure would be permanent.

This theatre is sorely in need of upgrades. After AMC took over, they changed the sign, installed new Coke freestyle machines and started a new pricing policy. But the seats look to be the originals from 1999 and the facility needs some TLC in order to compete with what is on the other side of town.
Taken over by AMC after Carmike’s intention deal in December 2016, although the building’s Wynnsong signs and leftovers continued to last until 2018. And as of August 2022, it was still closed (“until further notice”).
Still abandoned in November 2024. All the former doors and poster glasses were covered with wall texture.
