Opened in May 1948 and located on E. Second Street between Lincoln Road and Monroe Avenue, the address of this theater today brings up a dentist’s office. Unsure if it’s a new structure or a reuse of the former theater.

Motion Picture Herald, May 22, 1948: “Joe H. Gray, Dexter, N. M. business man, puts first theatre there via a 230-seat remodeled building, opening in about month.”
Boxoffice, July 31, 1948: “DEXTER, N. M. - Joe H. Gray and Belle Hurst have announced the opening of their new theatre here. It is the only house is Dexter and seats 228 people. Gray said programs would be changed four times a week and that matinees would be given every Saturday and Sunday.”
