This venue served as a movie house for the shopping center in a key part of the Inland Empire: right where I-10 meets I-215. Opened on June 8, 1984, it was a pretty good theatre in its day, but suffered closure when the GCC chain pulled out of the West Coast in the late-1990’s, closing on July 8, 1999.

It stands as a boarded-up shell of its former self.

The RV dealership behind the theatre expanded onto where the cinema sat. The McDonalds restaurant that was in front of the building remains.

GCC never left the west coast. They went bankrupt and started closing theatres. Those that didn’t close became part of the AMC chain when they bought GCC.

I don’t believe that this building was demolished. It looks like the back side was opened up to allow RVs to enter what now is the service area.

I would agree — Google Earth images seem to show a consistent building.
