Opened August 30, 1947 with Yvonne De Carlo in “Frontier Girl”. This was an Associated Theatres drive-in and was located on Route 50, to the east of Allenburg and west of Hillsboro. On June 5, 1985 it was renamed Highway 50 Drive-In. It closed at the end of the 1986 season.

The August 29, 1947, issue of The Press-Gazette from Hillsboro, Ohio, carried a full page ad announcing the grand opening of the Roselawn Auto Theatre the following night. The house was operated by Associated Theatres, of Lynchburg, Ohio.

The address (according to Google) is 3075 U.S. 50, Hillsboro, OH. Today, Corky’s Truck & Equipment sits on the property with very little indication of the drive-in remaining. http://tinyurl.com/gljkw4j
