Coury’s Drive-In was opened on June 15, 1956 with James Stewart in “The Man From Laramie” & Tom Ewell in “The Lieutenant Wore Skirts”. It had room for 600 cars. Closed in 1994. An Ocean State Job Lots discount store now sits on the site.

This location is not Wal-Mart. THAT is located at 1415 Curran, down the highway towards Howland.

The Drive-in location is Job Lots discount store.

It was named “Coury’s” because it was run by Al Coury.
