The Lake Delton Outdoor Theatre was located on US 12/Wisconsin 23 between Lake Delton and Wisconsin Dells, just south of Storybook Gardens. It was opened on July 6, 1951 with George Montgomery in “Texas Rangers”, and was operated by Sauk Outdoor Theatre Corporation. Noah’s Ark Waterpark was built on this site in the 1970’s.
The area’s other drive-in theatre, the Big Sky Drive-In on Highway 16 east of Wisconsin Dells, continues to show movies during the summer months and is extremely popular with locals and visitors alike.

Does anything remain of this theatre?
No, nothing is left of it. With all the development in the area—especially Noah’s Ark—there is no trace that there was ever a drive-n here.

The address for this theater is 1410 Wisconsin Dells Pkwy, Wisconsin Dells, WI 53965. This points directly to the drive in itself. Noah’s Ark is east of this location.
Please update.
The Delton Outdoor Theatre opened its gates on July 6, 1951 with George Montgomery in “Texas Rangers” (unknown if any extras added).
It appears that the drive-in closed after the 1975 season as I cannot find anymore showtimes from various Wisconsin papers afterward. A 1976 aerial view shows the drive-in still in fair shape, but was completely gone by 1979.
