The Westbrook 12 was opened May 14, 1999 by O'neil Theatres. It was taken over by Marquee Cinemas November 2, 2001. It was closed on September 28, 2022. It reopened as the Westbrook Cinemas on January 13, 2023, operated by the Shoreline Entertainment Group.

I beleive that this is the only all digital theater in Connecticut
The Marquee Westbrook 12 has joined the Opera in Cinema network, which presents opera and ballet performances from various European theaters. The only other theater in Connecticut in the network is the Warner in Torrington.
Marquee closed the Westbrook 12 on September 28, 2022 at the expiry of its lease. Bill Dougherty and Mystic Cinemas took on the venue with a January 13, 2023 relaunch as the Westbrook Cinemas 12.
Please update. This movie theater has reopened under new ownership, as Westbrook Cinemas.
