The 2000 seat Park Terrace opened in the mid-1960’s as a single screen cinema. It was later twinned.

Are you talking about City Nights? It’s at 5810 S. Western Blvd, not 5870. Another website says Park Terrace was at 5810 as well.

Yes or South Side Rock Club when I worked at a strip club behind it. Don’t quote me on this but I think that the guy that owns the building now has his office in the Victoria Theater 19th and classen. And prob owns the building where Three balls adult theater is. His office I think has part of the procenium arch of the Victoria theater visible.

Modern snapshots of the former Park Terrace Theatre can be viewed on this fun site. With over 2000 seats this was quite a large auditorium, though seatins was slightly reduced when it was converted to a twin cinema.

Heritage Theaters dropped the twin-screen Park Terrace on January 14, 1990 after showings of “Tango & Cash” and “Transylvania Twist” splitting with “All Dogs Go To Heaven.”
