Uploaded aerial from 1967. Not there in 1965 or earlier views. So it could not have opened up in late 1950’s.

Went here sometime in the mid-70s just as the toll on the Tacony-Palmyra bridge was changing. It was a nickel going over from Philly and a dime on the way back after the show. The weird things you remember.

This Drive-In was operated by Budco and was still in operation in 1985,

Drove by last week and it looks like the screen is GONE!

First, the screen is still standing and easily seen when driving by! @rgsears.

Also, (raymondgordonsears) – I am researching this theater for my blog, and it seems you might be able to help with your knowledge and work experience with Budco.

I’m trying to find the actual year this closed: I know it was definitely still open 1980, but closed in 1987 (because AMC was planning on building on the site).

Anyone have this information?
