Perrin Twin

The Perrin Twin was built by and originally operated by Bonanza Steak House, opening on June 21, 1974 with Robert Redford in “The Way We Were” & Kurt Russell in “Superdad”. There was a Bonanza across the parking lot from the theatre. It closed a couple of years later, and was taken over by Cinemas Southwest out of Corpus Christi, and it became a $1 theatre.

It opened and closed a few more times, and in 1994 was renamed the Milan Theater, and ran movies from India. The San Antonio Indian community did not embrace the theatre and it closed within three months.
