The Cine Broadway is located on the busy pedestrian only Blvr. de Sabana Grande, Chacaito in the East district of central Caracas.
It was designed in a Modern 1950’s style by architect’s firm Alayeto & Bled with internal decorations that included sculptured moulding of ballerina’s on each side of the proscenium by Cornelis Zitman. Seating was provided on stalls level only. It opened on 13th September 1951 with Judy Holliday in “Born Yesterday”.
When viewed in April 2006 the building was in use as a church by the Brazilian based United Church of the Kingdom of God.
