It’s a little amazing how little this theater has changed in 70 years! Here’s the original caption from Boxoffice, Dec. 4, 1954:

Light-colored Roman brick forms the front of the new theatre, which is otherwise constructed of cement blocks with poured concrete pilasters on 14-foot centers. Glass-paneled, aluminum-framed doors are angled in from the street, and the boxoffice has two windows, one for street service and one for lobby service. The theatre name is in neon script letters, three feet high, extending across the metal-trimmed marquee for 22 feet.
