The Sequoyah Theatre is located in the heart of downtown Sallisaw on North Oak Street and Choctaw Avenue. The Sequoyah Theatre was opened on April 24, 1951 with Debra Paget in “Bird of Paradise”. It was operating as an independent showing first run attractions. It had closed by the early-2010’s.

The husband-and-wife team of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Phillips opened the 600-seat Sequoyah Theatre’s doors on April 24, 1951 with Louis Jourdan in “Birds Of Paradise” with no extras.
Theater is closed. Phone disconnected. Status should be “Closed”
The Sequoyah Theatre had been closed since the early-2010s. It was already closed by 2013.
