When I was in the army, I attended this theater often. It was located in downtown Killeen, Texas. The Center Theater was opened by 1957 when it was operated by Rowley United Theatres Inc. It was still open in 1972.

I was stationed at Fort Hood in 1965 and 1966. I remember going to this theatre. It was fairly new and I don’t think it had been open too long. If I recall correctly, it was called the Killeen Theatre back then and not the Center. Anyone familiar with this old theatre?
I was in the army at Ft Hood in 1956 and 1957. I attended the Center. It must have been new then.
