The Graphic opened on February 22nd,1909. Grand opening ad posted.

The Graphic Theatre in Bangor was mentioned in the August 28, 1915, issue of The Moving Picture World.

In the nice postcard view, the building with the tower at the foot of the street is the Bangor railroad station. Beyond the station is a river (going on memory here). The station was closed in or after 1960 and torn down a little later. Both the Graphic and the Bijou were within a short walk of the station.

In the 1942-43 Motion Picture Almanac, the Graphic Theatre in Bangor is listed under Mullin & Pinanski of Boston, an affiliate of Paramount theaters. Other movie theaters in Bangor run by M&P were the Bijou, Opera House and Park.
