I was just in Corbin back in November 2006 and the screen had been torn down and I believe the lot has been turned into some sort of go-cart track…or at least those are the plans that I heard about. So sad.
I think there are two Corbins. The one on Cumberland Falls is now the racetrack, as seen by this photo:

Ha! That’s funny. The above link is of a photo I took. And for the record…18th Street and Cumberland Falls Hwy are the same thing. I grew up in Corbin and this was the only drive-in there. Corbin has been having a “tear everything down” party lately. There are now a lot of parking lots where there were once really cool old buildings.
This should be changed to closed at the very least. All that remains of the Corbin Drive-in is the sign.
1960’s aerial uploaded in the photo section.
Status should be closed. This theatre was closed in 2013.
A closer address (at least for Google) is 1250 Cumberland Falls Hwy, Corbin, KY. Today, a private business sits on the property with little trace of the drive-in remaining save for a few ramps, the marquee, and possibly the projector booth/concession stand. http://tinyurl.com/hkfmr86
