The Grand Theatre in Ipoh, Malaysia was a 700 seat movie house that primarily showed Tamil and Hindi films. After its closure in September 2000, it was converted into a bridal store. Primarily focusses on Tamil and Hindi films.

Remember watching cheap matinees during the school holidays in the 70s. Situated next to the Oriental Cinema and of course the Jubilee Park where all the pinball machines are. Enjoyed watching some of the best midnight showings of Hindi and Malay movies with my school buddies in this cinema.Those were the good old days!
