The Gauntier Theater had opened by 1912. It closed in the 1950’s and it was converted into a bowling alley.

The Gauntier Theater has gone from listings in the 1950 edition of Film Daily Yearbook.

Motion Picture Story Magazine says in the Green Room Jottings of its September issue 1912 states that 2 theaters were named after Gene Gauntier, this one and one in England.
