This unfortunately named theater opened in June 1922 and was operated by Charles W. Wade. It is now a church.

There were several Wadesonian Theaters around central Alabama dating back to at least 1926. This theater appears to have closed several years after the opening of the New Wadesonian Theatre on April 15, 1936, (which became a paint store and is now an antiques store and has its own page on Cinema Treasures) in another part of town.

Roger’s link. Peggy Wyatt, quoted in the article, says that she saw Disney’s Bambi at the old Wedesonian Theatre. As that movie was released in 1942, the old theater must have continued operating long after the New Wadesonian opened in 1936.
