The Capitol Theater opened on 12th October 1934 with the British film “Evergreen” starring Jesse Matthews. It closed in 1966 and in recent years has become a church.
Any further details on the building or information would be appreciated.

I performed in this theater in 1987 while on a concert tour. (When I unearth those pictures, I will attempt to post the links here.) At the time of my appearance, Johann Maasbach, a well known evangelist in Holland, had his ministry headquarters there, but I do not know if he owned the building or was a renter.
the theatre is situated on the corner of loosduinseweg and apeldoornselaan, so move to the right
Capitol was one of the third class cinema’s in the Hague were most of it’s visitors lived in the neighbourhood. Television was not common in the fifties and the early sixties. Most visitors were regular customers. The cinema showed mostly B- and C movies. A movies were shown after they had played in other theaters before.
