The Loews Port Chester 14 opened on Friday, October 28, 2005.
The exterior of the building is designed like a group of turn-of-the-century buildings. The seat counts of each auditorium are: 182, 276, 276, 276, 276, 369, 421, 400, 276, 276, 276, 98, 203, 186 [they seem to have a facination with the number 276].
All auditoriums are equipped with Dolby digital processors. This theatre was originally scheduled to open in late 2003, but was mysteriously delayed.
This was the last theater Loews Cineplex built before the purchase of the circuit by AMC Theatres.

The IMAX screen is currently closed. Maybe getting nicer seats? They don’t need hundreds of old fashioned in a screen that never sells out. A couple of the larger screens have the new AMC XL designation, which carries a $1 surcharge.
