City directory listings show a Colonial Theatre in 1910 at this address (which means it was a 1909 canvas). It is listed as the Richard Theatre in 1912-1913. Listed as the Colonial Theater again in 1914. Between 1915 and 1918 it is listed as the Beauty Theatre. There are no more theatre listings at this address after 1928.
It is believed to have been a storefront theatre as opposed to a free standing building. A 34-story 1960’s building with an address 100 N. Main Street now stands on the site.

New directory research shows that THE BEAUTY THEATRE was listed at this location (98 N. Main) from 1915 to 1928.
