Opened September 1, 1921 with a production of “Irene” on stage and on the screen “Mother O' Mine”. By 1927 it was a B. F. Keith theatre. Listed as operating under the RKO name in the 1951 Film Daily Yearbook. Building was eventually demolished. Satellite image shows that this address maps to the large Bank of America building site.

It was actually across the street from where the Bank of America is today. I believe that J&J owns this land now and it is part of their corporate headquarters.

I remember the Rivoli showing mostly or only Disney movies when I was young, perhaps sometime between 1960 and 1970, or at least only G Rated movies.
This opened on September 1st, 1921. Grand opening ad in the photo section.
