The Commerce Drive-In opened on July 3, 1956. This single screen drive-in had a capacity for approximately 1000 cars. The Commerce Drive-In closed in September of 1990 with Christian Slater in “Pump Up the Volume” & Charlie Sheen in “Navy Seals”.

After the marquee was tagged with graffiti in January 2017, some Commerce Township folks launched a GoFundMe campaign to try to restore it.
