The Sunset Drive-In opened in 1949 as the Sky-Vue Drive-In. The name was changed to Sunset Drive-In in 1979. This drive-in had a capacity for 400 cars. The Sunset Drive-In closed in 1985.

The Sunset marquee hung around for a few years after the drive-in closed. This page has a photo of it:
