Dolby Atmos sound system being installed in UltraScreen (former Imax) room beginning with “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug” on 12/13/2013. Ultrascreen is now named UltraScreen DLX.

Currently installing Dream Lounger seating and moving to a reserved seat format. Loungers will be installed in UltraScreen to open with “Hunger Games: Catching Fire”

The screen count on the website now lists all 17 screens, including the Ultrascreen.

Saw “Everest”,“Matrix Reloaded”,and “Matrix Revolutions” on the IMAX screen here.
Also saw “Lord Of The Rings ROTK” on IMAX screen, but not in IMAX,it was 35mm projected on the IMAX screen.Looked awesome though!

After the IMAX was taken out and converted to the ultrascreen,I saw “Star Wars Episode III” here.

17 films are listed as being shown simoultaneouly on their website. So the 16 screen lable on the web site is probably a slip up on Marcus' behalf. Imax containing cinemas don’t list the total number of screens. They list screens plus the IMAX, which is probably the crux of the matter.

Ultrascreens by definition are “75 feet wide by 32 feet tall”, so I guess I’ll grab my tape measure and drive for 6 hours…. well maybe not.

I remember when they had the IMAX here and I went in to see a Roller Coaster IMAX movie (cannot remember the title of movie). I was looking forward to it but got pretty sick right away. One of the staff members came over to me immediately to make sure I was alright, then offered me a pass. One of the niecest treatments I ever got in a movie theatre.

This theater definitely has 17 screens. 8 on the left side, 8 on the right side and 1 in the middle where the IMAX equipment used to be. The Marcus website is not correct.

Marcus replaced the Imax equipment with 35mm and renamed the room the UltraScreen. Screen is same width as before (about 65' of active screen) and the height is cut about in half from the Imax height. Image and sound quality are quite good for a large 35mm screen.

The actual number of theatres in this location is 17.

I believe this theatre also has an IMAX screen…I remember seeing “Fantasia 2000” there.
