ORIGINALLY PART OF THE LITCHFIELD THEATRES, LTD CHAIN.
Litchfield opened this theatre on January 30, 1976.
Re: Longislandmovies – No the Capri was torn down over a decade ago. The Julia did manage to salvage and retrofit the neon sign though.
Grand opening ad:
Repainted and sign replaced by 2022 per Google Street View.
United Artists took it over from Litchfield on June 1, 1987. Regal took it over for a time before Phoenix did afterward.
