The “GEM” marquee is now on the old “MOON” drive-in, in Linden, PA, after a drunk driver demolish the Moon/Port’s marquee in Dec. 2011.

In 1956 it was the HUNTERDON drive-in parking 300 cars and owned by Brant Theatres.

I was Mgr./Projectionist at the former Ringoes DI in 1974. This was not a Brandt Theater at that time. It was owned by an independent, Johnny Morgan. He also operated numerous other locations thru-out Northeast PA.

In 1983 (Labor Day) We were there with our 55 Chevy for a large car show called LEAD EAST. They showed Rebel Without A Cause, & The Hollywood Knights. I met the owner/projectionist Joe Farruggio who told me that they (AMOS Theatres) also owned several drive-in’s in the Pennsylvania mountains. I am now buying one of those drive-is from Joe.

In 1987 we rode over the 202? bridge from NJ to Pa, & show a picture on the screen.

Still listed as the Hunterdon in the 1963 and 1970 IMPAs. This may be simply sloppy research by the editors. Operator was Morton Mazor. Capacity was 300 cars.
