The former 1,200 Drumcondra Grand Cinema in the Dublin suburb of Drumcondra opened on 19th August 1934. It closed on 24th March 1968.
It has been gutted and turned into a Tesco supermarket. It had a 31 foot wide proscenium arch before closing.
The exterior was virtually intact, the only alterations being bricking up some exit doors, inserting a shop window in place of the main entrance doors, and inserting a goods-in door on the rear wall of the auditorium block. By 2020 the frontage had been demolished and a new one inserted.
