The Fulton Theatre opened in March of 1939 and was equipped for both film and live performance. The theatre closed in 1952 and was converted to a retail furniture store. Efforts are underway to restore the building facade to its original theatre appearance.

Here are a couple of recent photos of the former Fulton Theatre. It appears that the renovation is complete.
The Fulton Theatre in Hapeville Georgia. Opened alround the week of March 26, 1939. Was located at Central Avenue and Virginia, Built for J.A. Ragsdale, and was leased by East Point Amusement Company.
I found an old piece of company stationary from the Fulton Theatre. It lists the phone number as CALHOUN 3912 and the manager as Joyce Liggett. (she was my aunt) I wish it contained actual theatre business, but it is just a few recipes for banana bread. If anyone has any information about the staff, I would love to hear it.
