Cobb Theatres took over the venue exactly one week after it opened. This is a short-lived twin-screen house, closing with “Back To The Future” and “Plenty” on December 12, 1985.

Opened as Port Malabar Twin Cinema on 15th June 1978 on cinema 1 with “The food of the gods” and on cinema 2 with “A small town in Texas”.

Newspapers of the time suggest this became a twin theatre and was at one time operated by Cobb Theatres.
