This article from 2017 says that the Runyon Theatre went dark in December, 2016. It has since reopened as a bar and night club called the Spirit House Cabaret.
The recent opening of the Rialto Theatre at Pueblo was announced in the May 4, 1918, issue of The Moving Picture World. In 2017, Spirit House Cabaret was planning an event to commemorate the theater’s 100th anniversary in March, 2018, so that might be the month in which the theater originally opened.
The remodel of the Rialto Theatre to the Chief took place in 1938, It was remodeled again in 1949. Robret O. Boller was the architect for both remodels. The Rialto/Chief was owned by the Chief Investment Co. of Denver, CO.
Looks like it’s a performing arts center:

A 1985 view of the Chief Theater in Pueblo open and showing movies here and here and a 1987 view here and here closed and for sale for $75,000. Sounds like a bargain. What great detail the the thunderbirds were in the small hexagon openings on each side of the “Chief” sign.
Here are two photos of the Rialto in 1922:

As recent as 10/25/02 it was a venue for live comedy:
“So you’ve had a hankering for drag queens, impersonation, comedy and cabaret since Hedwig? Well, join the club! Or, even better, go to it. Pueblo’s Chief Theater presents gender-bending diva and comedienne Titania LaVey & Co. "So put on your makeup…” etc., and head down 611 N. Main St. in Pueblo at 9 p.m. Tickets are $5.50 in advance (available at Independent Records), $6.50 the day of the show. For more info, call 719/545-2566."
