Also opened with a cartoon(not named), and latest World news.
There was a Red Ace gas station on one side and a furniture store on the other. Behind the furniture store was Morrison’s Cafeteria – If you sat in the front dining room, you could see the screen from the window.
Most of the property is now a U-Haul center.

Thats it Chuck just like I remember it.The screen was not far behind the marquee.
Went to this drive-in many times growing up it was about ½ mile from Madison Square Shopping Center were the LOEWS MADISON was located behind the center.
yes it parked 810 cars and in 1956 it was owned by C.H.Kurtz.
I remeber that in the 60’s, the Montague advertised itself as “Nashville’s Only Independent”, as all of the other drive-in’s in Nashville were run by the Martin chain>
