The Westminster 10 was constructed quickly and opened on February 28, 1992 to replace the Edwards Cinema West which was closed a year before. Its arrival gave Edwards a presence of 33 Orange County locations, with the 34th due to open the following March, making five location added in just about a year. ] Unfortunately, it was built a few years before stadium seating became popular and has never converted and in the spring of 2005 awaits it’s fate pending the fall 2005 arrival of a Century 20 in Huntington Beach, about three miles away. Taken over by Regency Theatres in June 2012.

This is an ok place. I live right down the street, but I haven’t seen anything here in years. The main info above is right, the new Century theatre (really nice by the way) is probably going to take away the dwindling business this theatre already does. There’s nothing wrong with it, it’s just boring. I did see the first Jurassic Park here, in the largest auditorium. Good memories of that.
I remember going to the grand opening when I was in 8th grade with some friends. They were giving away free admission and popcorn for the first 100 people. We saw Wayne’s World that night. I have seen many movies and gone on many dates there over the years. I have not been there for a few years because I would rather go to the larger movie theatres.
My aunt is a manager at this theater (as she was with the 4-plex that was in the same area). I used to go to this theater for free all the time. The capacities are.
