According to their website yes!!
Have they upgraded to digital?
I’m from Milwaukee Wi and grew up on drive ins! When I lived up there we would hit up the Starlight which had 2 screens and could park over 1200 cars! A lot of great memories there as a child! Now I have children and take them to Twin City a bunch of times during the summer! They always have new movies and you can’t beat the price! My kids love this Drive in the only thing it is missing is a small playground in front of the screen mainly swings and a slide! That was a big memory as a small child! But either way super cheap concessions and bathrooms are clean and the property has nice grass to throw a blanket down and enjoy the movie! They other neat thing would be for the current open drive ins to play them old cheesy concession commercials they use to play years ago! They where cute and a neat memory!
Very nice looking Drive-in.But one would expect that in East Tenn. Right TLSLOEWS.
There is an error in the information about the Twin City. Raymond Warden and Bo Diggs (my dad) were 50/50 partner in building the theater and Bo bought out Raymond (his father-in-law) in the 50’s. Bo sold the theater to Danny Warden in 1974.
The first time I can remember going to the Twin City Drive-In was as a child in 1977 with my Mom & another friend. I was 7-years old at the time and Star Wars was showing along with an Elvis Presley movie. The memory of seeing Star Wars on the big screen while sitting outside on a blanket is one of the fondest memories that I can remember from childhood. I love this Drive-In and hope it will always remain opened.
lostmemory: Thanks for the Bristol Drive-In site! Fun story about the drive-in being used when Nascar is in town!
