Opened July 8, 1970 with Lee Marvin in “Paint Your Wagon”. Located upstairs in the mall beside Sears, it was a small one-screen theater. It was closed by Loews on January 2, 1990 with Walt Disney’s animated feature “The Little Mermaid”. Now occupied by a food court, a medical office and part of Sears.

This was part of the CinemaNational/USA Cinemas Chain. It opened and closed as a single screen. If you go around the back of the mall, you can make out the shape of the theatre.
I remember seeing a few movies here in the 1970’s, including “Mother, Jugs and Speed,” and Hal Holbrook’s one man show of Mark Twain. Very small, and the decor was mostly orange. It was the 70’s.

Closed on January 2, 1990 with Walt Disney’s “The Little Mermaid”, and was last operated by Loews.
