Located in the Tri-Town Plaza on Derby Avenue just west of Highway 8. The theatre opened in 1998 by Entertainment Cinemas. It features a nice spacious lobby but other than that, it’s a regular 12 screen multiplex. This theater is another casualty of the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been permanently shuttered.

The chain should be listed as Entertainment Cinemas.
So are Entertainment Cinemas and Boston Culinary Group related somehow? This theater is listed on both websites.
I’m not positive if this is still the case, but my understanding is that BCG would offer loans to theatre operators in exchange for a cut of their concessions profits until the loan was repaid. If this is the case, then it is in the interest of both companies to promote the theatre. The more money Entertainment Cinemas makes, the quicker their loan is repaid.
