The Globe Theatre opened in 1910. In 1917 the theatre was renamed the New Globe. In 1928 the theatre was renamed the Ohio Theatre. On April 6, 1962 it was renamed Ohio Follies Theatre and adult movies were shown, the first adult movie was “Unashamed”.
In 1969 theatre was closed.

Having a friend who was projectionist here, I visited the projection room rather frequently during the early 60s. I remember its interior fairly well.
Oops! I forgot to mention that the parking garage for the convention center now occupies this site.
Reopened as the Ohio Follies on April 6th, 1962 on an adult film policy. Ad in photo section.
