Opened on August 9, 1955 with “Beneath the 12 Mile Reef”.
Boxoffice, Aug. 20, 1955: “M. E. Renfrow and C. W. Miller of Owensboro, Ky., opened their Holiday Drive-In seven miles north of town at the Owensboro-Rockport, Ind., intersection on U. S. 231. It accommodates 550 cars.”
The Holiday added a sixth screen for the 2016 season.
Screen 1 1955, screen 2 1980, screen 3 1992, screen 4 1992 and screen 5 1995. They are still using 35mm print. Supposedly will convert to digital when it becomes necessary.
