This July 1952 newspaper ad from the Richmond Independent shows a reissue of the 20 year old (but still great!) “King Kong” playing at the Fox. As an 11 year old boy this was the first time I was in the new Fox. I was impressed almost as much with the theatre as I was with the amazing show on the screen. Not sure why but “The Leopard Man” scared me to death!
