Jack Corgan, the architect of theaters including the Stevens and the Park Forest in Dallas, artist’s rendering of the Telenews that brought Dallas a newsreel theater with continuous newsreels and a periodical lounge with continuous radio broadcasts on premises and the latest newsmagazines. The $80,000 theater was placed into a retail space that once held three grocery stores and most recently a tavern and Van Winkles Book Store.
