I took this photo from a friends plane in the summer of 2013. It shows some of the size of the large building that is mostly underground. Roughly it measures a quarter of a mile wide and the length of a football field deep, back into the mountain. It hold over 1 million moving image items: films, TV shows, video tapes, DVDs and laser discs. As well as over 3 millions recorded sound items on cylinders, records (78rpm/33rpm/45rpm), CD and digital sound files. Located in Culpeper, Virginia where free movies are show every week, year round from the largest collection in the world.
