The mall ribbon cutting March 3, 1988 with the West Ridge 6 an original tenant. The theatre closed just after its 27th anniversary on April 21, 2005 when Wallace closed this location and reopened the nearby West Ridge 8 after a remodel and already had a 14 - screen theatre less than two miles away. The Baskin Robbins ice cream shop inside the theater also closed on that date. Coming Attractions circuit wanted to re-open the theater as a discount house but the lease was tied up as of 2005 and failed to materialize.
