Knobby Brown - Usher/Ticket Taker/Keep the kids in Order
Knobby Brown worked at The Mount Dennis Theatre mid 50s to mid 60s. His job was to keep the kids in order and throw out the bad ones. I was ALWAYS good no matter what you hear.He was also one of the more than 500 WW1 volunteers from Mount Dennis and area. Mount Dennis had the highest ratio for volunteers in Canada. His people counter is in his hand.

This is a real hoot and shows you what the real theatre people were like!!! The Mount Dennis theatre was one of the Premier Theatres owned by Theatre Holding Corporation. Premier Theatres were operating partners of Famous Players Canadian Corporation, Limited. Premier Theatres were owned by the pioneering ALLEN FAMILY and FPCC!!
