From my ‘Terry Photo’ movie newspaper ad collection from 1944 ‘Cover Girl’ playing at the ‘New Mission Theatre’ on Mission St in San Francisco CA. Still open today owned by Sony Theatres /Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas. They show 35mm/70mm film prints from time to time. My friend ‘Jim’ is the projectionist in the large downstairs projection booth Theatre #1 Check out the brand new seats! Nice green neon marquee outside but they don’t list anything playing inside. Missing free street advertisement. No one wants to climb a ladder I guess.
